The project includes 2 meetings lasting two hours each per class.

CIVIL BODIES OF PEACE

EUROPOLY

The Center for Peace is organizing a training course on non-violent interventions in conflict zones and civil peace corps, with the same format as the course for international peace mediators held in Bertinoro in previous years.

The course foresees the participation of about 30 young people, who will deal with issues such as peacebuilding, peacemaking, humanitarian aid and conflict dynamics.

Several experts will intervene such as Prof. Bernardo Venturi, of the University of Bologna, the  Prof. Luisa Del Turco, President of the Center for Civil Defense Studies, Sara Ballardini, of Peace Brigade International, and many others.

The aim of the course is to provide participants with the necessary tools for understanding the methods of non-violent intervention in conflict zones, through a theoretical and practical overview.

The Focsiv, Pope John XXII, "A bridge for", Operation Colomaba and Peace Brigade International bodies will bring a concrete example through the story of their experiences in the field.

The Center for Peace participated in the Europoly project of the Diego Fabbri Center, a project that aims to use the European enthusiasm of young people to combat adult skepticism.
